There are many little gift shops and local retail stores and things to do for the family. That is just the start. There are many backroads you can go through to look at the wildflowers of Texas. Besides the wildflowers, you could visit the farmers market or simply stroll through some peach orchards on a sunny day. There is also an elephant sanctuary to be visited for those that have a special place for all wildlife.

After all your walking around at the many different places, you can unwind at one of the many great eateries and if there are no kids with you on your trip, stop by one of the wine tasting locations and indulge in many of the Texas fine wines. Or, try them all!
