Reading Into Bumper Stickers

There are a lot of things that people do to their vehicles to intentionally draw your attention towards them in Texas. Sometimes it's visual and sometimes it's audible, but it's always distracting. People’s bumper stickers on the back of their cars are one of the visual distractions we often encounter. It's hard to resist the urge to read them.

A bumper sticker is a snapshot of what a person is like and curiosity gets the best of all of us. Bumper stickers can give you insight into what type of person the driver is. If it's an angry message then they're probably an angry driver and you should probably stay away. If it's a hopeful message then they might be a daydreamer so they may not be paying attention to their driving.

Trying to read a bumper sticker to gain some insight on other drivers can become a distraction though, so it is better to ignore them rather than have the added distraction.

“It wasn’t me officer the sticker made me do it.”
