In the last half-century, since El Lago was incorporated as a city, it has grown from a simple little town in the 1950s to a thriving suburban city just outside the greater Houston area. The city of El Lago even has a city celebration each year where families can share some food, fellowship, and fun.

If you have recently received a ticket either during the daily commute or during a weekend drive, then Comedy Driving has two simple ways for you to take the Texas defensive driving class and dismiss that ticket. We have a physical location right at the corner of FM 518 and I-45 southbound. We hold classes there 4 days a week, and the cost is only $35.

If you are unable to make it to the classroom, we do offer an online defensive driving course that is approved by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for ticket dismissals throughout the entire state.

With the ability to log in and out as you please as you please, you are able to complete this course at any stride you’d like. Your progress is saved as you move forward in the course, and there is no final exam. We have even made our course compatible with your smartphone and/or tablet as well.

Once you complete the course your certificate is processed the same day and mailed out to you if it is completed by 5PM CST. If you would like to receive it faster, we also offer email delivery. You will receive two copies; your court copy must be signed and turned into the court and the insurance copy can be used for a possible monthly auto insurance discount.
