Falcon State Park has lots of activities for your family and friends. Some of the recreational pastimes in the area are fishing, hunting, hiking, and water skiing. There are cabins to rent so that spending the night can make the trip less stressful.

The lake has several boat ramps for avid fishermen and there is plenty of fish to catch! Falcon lake is also a great place to bird watch. There are dozens of species that occupy the park and it is also a favorite location for migrating birds. You can visit the Roma Bluffs World Birding Station to get detailed information.

If you ever get a ticket for going to fast on your way to the lake, here at Comedy Driving Inc., we provide a 6-hour course for Starr County Defensive Driving. We do not have any physical classroom locations in this area but we do provide the course online for the low cost of $25 plus shipping. Once the course is completed we will email the certificate to you and you will then print it from your email, sign it and turn it into the court.
