How much is the course, and what does it include?

Our online course is only $25.00, which is the lowest price allowed by Texas Law. It also includes free video streaming, audio, videos and animations throughout the course.

How long is the course?

The state of Texas requires defensive driving to be 6 hours in length. This includes 5 hours of course content with a 1 hour break.

Can I take breaks?

Yes, you can log in and out of the course as many times as needed until you complete the course. Each time you log out, it counts towards your 1 hour break. When you log back in, you will be taken to right where you left off.

Is your course approved by all courts in Texas?

Yes, our online course as well as our in person course is approved for all courts in Texas.

Can the certificate be sent directly to the court?

Some courts do noT allow your certificate to be electronically filed directly with them. During our signup process if your court allows this option you will be able to choose it as a delivery method. If your court does not allow for e-file, you are required to turn in the signed hard copy to them yourself.

How soon will I get my certificate?

• If you choose Immediate Download/Email, you receive the court copy and insurance copy of your certificate immediately upon course completion, which you may print, sign, and take to the court.
• If you choose Standard Mail, you will receive your certificate within 2-7 business days.
• If you choose Express AM, you will receive your certificate the following business day. (Must complete the course by 6PM CST Monday-Friday for this option)
• If you choose eFile, we digitally submit your certificate to the court once you complete the course and also complete the e-signature online.
